open classes will take place at Studio Słodownia +3 between 10:30 - 12:00 on following dates:

During her residency Jasmina Križaj will conduct open classes. 

Jasmina Križaj was born in Maribor, Slovenia (1982). In the age of 15 she replaced sport world with dance. She quite fast discovered art/dance field offers the profession she wants to attain. This desire broth her to The Theaterschool Amsterdam, department For New Dance Development, where she graduated in the year 2006.
Before coming to Amsterdam, she worked in many projects of established Slovene choreographers (Snježana Premuš, Matej Kejžar, Mojca Kasjak,...).
While her study she was working for many international choreographers and she got the opportunity to start making her own pieces. On Act Festival in Bilbao (2006) she won the first award for The Best New Creation with her work Zebra in the Hair Saloon.
She was also one of the few selected artists who worked with David Zambrano in the international workshop "50 days of Flying Low an Passing Through Costa Rica 2010".

Right now she is a part of a collective called Sugar Rush with Nina Fajdiga, Tian Rotteveel and Jernej Jurc, which launched out their first project in 2009, supported by European Cultural Foundation (ECF) and 50 CollectiVe which is preparing for their American tour in April-May 2011 (thepassingthrough.wordpress.com, www.50collective.com).

She is an author of many pieces, which are being presented on festivals all over the Europe. Her last work in colaboration with Nina Fajdiga, Leila McMillan and Clarice Lica entitlet ... and call me Antonia came to life in November 2010 under the production of Zavod Emanat Ljubljana.
