Can you draw dance? In the workshop, Aleksandra Borys wants to combine movement with drawing: using your body within space with the work of a crayon on paper. This will reveal how dance is “recorded” by children of various ages and how it is seen by adults. The games will merge drawing with movement to release the participants’ (both children’s and adults’) artistic expression and freedom in creating and combining different arts and materials.

Aleksandra Borys, graduated from Codarts / Rotterdam Dance Academy, Holland and National Ballet School in Łódź, Polandshe took part in EU project Tour d’Europe des Chorégraphes. Worked with choreographers / artists from Spain, UK, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Israel and Italy. Created and co-created performances which were showed in Holland, UK, Croatia and Poland. In 2010 Alexandra was a holder of Scholarship of Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. “Lost in details” was chosen as one of the best shows of 2011 by the Aerowaves network and presented in many different festivals all over Europe.
