Following years’ long collaboration within the European Dancehouse Network, at the invitation of Tanzhaus NRW Düsseldorf, Stary Browar will become the principal centre of the dance program of the season in Poland. Throughout October will we host in Poznań a large number of performances and art projects involving Polish and German artists.

“A rich catalogue of cultural and dance history is held within Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. »Swan Lake, 4 Acts« delves into this legacy through a stream of images, associations and remembrances. Collective memory, sometimes dark emerges, as re-imagined, the remnants of the »Swan Lake legend assume a dreamlike texture; an incarnation of hope and kinship.
When he first appeared in Dublin at the dance festival in 2006, his »Swan Lake, Four Acts« mesmerised its audience with the eloquence of its deceptively simple sequences.”

Christine Madden, The Irish Time (2010)

“Swan Lake, 4 Acts” premiered in 2005, and in 2006 was awarded the French Prix de la Critique in 2006.The first presentation of the title in Poland will be at the same time the last opportunity to see the performance, which by the decision of the artists will no longer be shown to the public.
