René Daniëls, one of the main protagonists of the current exhibition in the Art Stations gallery, said somewhat sadly:" Do we even need painting? Does anyone ever go anymore to a gallery to experience art? Why do I have to paint strange galleries?”. We must cheer him up! Let’s make the exhibition rooms the right shape again (even if they are only cardboard), let’s paint pictures and hang them on the walls. After all, as long as children create, art will always be necessary!
