It was fascinating and eerie to hear it move in.
It built slowly – some distant hissing and rumbling.
Then it became urgent, resonant and insistent howling.
It rose in a crescendo and then WHOOOOOOOOOSHHHhhhhhh...
It was over.
Complete cathedral silence.
I was breathless.
I don’t recall seeing clouds move so quickly.
Could you feel when I was blowing at you?

Renata Piotrowska
choreographer | performer

in her works she uses tools of contemporary dance, specially its experimental trends and performative arts.
Piotrowska confronts choreography with conceptual thinking. In her works, next to the research in perception and kinestethetic empathy, she contemplates contemporary world through deriving the inspirations from life experiences and theoretical texts from human sciences.

She created: „Now“ / 2007, „Dancing with the Enemy“ / 2007, UNKNOWN series / 2008-2010, „breaj ART OF THE WAR“ / 2010, UNKNOWN.SEANCE“ / 2011, videodance „Inside“ / 2011, „The Forest“_work in progress / 2013, „Death. Exercices and variations“ / 2014. In 2008 and 2010 her performances: „Dancing with the Enemy“ and „Unknown“ were choosen for the Polish Dance Platform.
