The show Body.Child.Object explores topics related to the experience of childhood, a time preserved in familial and individual memory. Childhood consists of traces and objects: toys, notebooks and other things that often evoke the former feelings of sadness, fear or joy. How large can the museum of our childhood be? Does it fit into a pocket or can it reach the clouds? Is it a plain anecdote or a memory that has not been worked over yet? Iza Szostak is interested in working with memory, in the physical reconstruction of states and signs of the past: a bygone reality in a socio-cultural and individual dimension.
